Storytelling for Panjabi-speaking Seniors @ Beaty In-Person
This storytelling workshop will inspire story sharing through traditional fabrics.
Hosted by Rapinder Kaur from Sikh National Archives of Canada (SNAC) and Art as Therapy.
Panjabi speaking seniors in Milton and the surrounding community are invited to gather and work with fabric to create art, while sharing their stories as part of the Milton Public Library’s (MPL) New Horizon for Seniors 2026 Grant initiative. Stories will be recorded and preserved in the MPL and SNAC archives. The objective is to capture stories that may be shared with generations to come while building community together
