Youth Mental Health Fair In-Person
Between the ages of 11-17? Come hang out at the Third Youth Mental Health Fair being held at the Main Library on Saturday, May 9 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Hosted by Milton Public Library, the fair is open to the community. Meet people and get free information about services offered by local community organizations, including:
- ADAPT (Halton Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Assessment Prevention and Treatment Services)
- Art as Therapy
- Halton Centre for Cognitive Therapy & Stress Reduction
- Halton Violence Prevention Council
- Just Be You
- Kerry's Place
- Lighthouse for grieving children and families
- Pflag Halton
- SAVIS of Halton (Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention Services)
- and of course, the library has free resources all the time! Check out Teen Health & Wellness for free resources on a variety of subjects including Body Basics, Family Life, Mind, Mood, and Emotions, and Sustainable Living .
Feel free to share with your friends, family, and networks and any youth that think would like to hang out and have some fun.
