Indigenous Veterans Day Ceremony In-Person
Milton Public Library will be honouring Indigenous Veterans Day on Friday, November 7, a time to remember and give thanks to the Indigenous men and women who have served and sacrificed in times of conflict and peace.
The ceremony will include the sharing of stories from currently serving Indigenous members of the Canadian Armed Forces, presentations of remembrance from students, and the laying of a beaded poppy wreath created by Milton youth.
