White Pine Beanstack Challenge
Are you looking for your next great Canadian read? The Forest of Reading is Canada’s largest recreational reading program, where readers vote for the winner from the list of 10 nominated titles. White Pine is the list meant for readers in grades 9-12. Join the Beanstack challenge, track which titles you read, and vote for your favourite!
The nominated list will be released on October 15, 2025, and voting takes place during the month of April 2026. In order to be eligible to vote, readers should read at least 5 of the 10 nominated titles (though you can read them all if you want!) Please complete your voting by April 28 so it can be reported to the Forest and your votes will count!
We will also have reporting desks at the branches where you can pick up Book Tokens for each of the nominated titles that you have read. Collect them all and put them on a keychain!
