Digital Art Exhibition - KALA: Colours of South Asia - Celebrating Echoes of Home
Presented in collaboration with SAMM (South Asian Mommies of Milton), Echoes of Home is a digital art exhibition that invites you to explore what “home” means through the eyes of local South Asian artists. The word “Kala” means art in Hindi—reflecting creativity, expression, and cultural identity.
This exhibit, showcased during South Asian Heritage Month, celebrates the richness and diversity of South Asian culture through vibrant visual storytelling. From traditional folk art to contemporary digital pieces, each artwork uniquely reflects memory, belonging, and community.
Join us at Sherwood Library from May 15 to June 1 to honour heritage, celebrate creativity, and connect through the universal language of art.
