High in the misty hills of Cao Bồ, Hà Giang, where the Dao people live in harmony with the forest, a very special tea is born — slowly aged inside hollow bamboo over many months. This is Bamboo Tea. Crafted from wild, ancient shan tuyết tea buds growing at elevations above 1,500 meters, the tea is not dried immediately after harvest. Instead, the Dao artisans gently pack the buds into mature bamboo tubes and smoke them over a wood fire for six months or more. Each bamboo tube carries the scents of forest mist, the memory of cooking fire, and the sweet essence of the bamboo itself — all gradually absorbed into every tea bud.
To open one is to awaken the highland spirit: a pure mountain aroma, hints of soft smoke, the sweetness of bamboo, and the deep aftertaste of ancient tea leaves.
A cup of Bamboo Tea is not just a beverage — it is a story of the forest, the people, and time itself.
