Tea and the Art of Tasseomancy @ Sherwood

Tea and the Art of Tasseomancy @ Sherwood In-Person

Tea has long been steeped in both history and mysticism. The practice of reading fortunes from tea leaves—known as tasseomancy—traces its roots back to ancient shamanic traditions, where symbols formed by natural objects were used to glimpse the unknown. This enchanting art involves interpreting the patterns left behind in a teacup, revealing messages and insights hidden in the leaves.

Join Amy Lou Taylor as she delves into the fascinating world of tasseomancy. Discover how this age-old divination practice evolved into the art we know today. Amy will explore its deep historical roots, the tools of the trade, and the various methods used to read the leaves.

It is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the program. Attendance for registration will be taken 5 minutes prior to the start of the session. If you are not there for the attendance, your spot may be filled by a walk-in.

If you are unable to register (full), there are spaces reserved for walk-ins. Arrive about 10 minutes ahead of the program as spots will fill on a first come, first served basis. There then may be additional spots that open for no-shows 1-2 minutes before the program begins.
