July movie: Rafiki Bursting with the colorful street style & music of Nairobi's vibrant youth culture, RAFIKI is a tender love story between two young women in a country that still criminalizes homosexuality. Despite the political rivalry between their families, the girls encourage each other to pursue their dreams in a conservative society. August movie: Train to Busan A harrowing zombie horror-thriller that follows a group of terrified passengers fighting their way through a countrywide viral outbreak, trapped on a suspicion-filled, blood-drenched bullet train ride to the Safe Zone…which may or may not still be there. Korean with English subtitles. Content warning for violence.
