Rhythms & Recrafted Art: A Global Fusion of Music and Upcycled Creations

Rhythms & Recrafted Art: A Global Fusion of Music and Upcycled Creations In-Person

"Rhythms & Recrafted Art: A Global Fusion of Music and Upcycled Creations" invites tweens and teens to embark on a creative journey that merges the vibrant sounds of world music with the innovative use of recycled materials to create stunning artwork. In this hands-on program, participants will explore diverse musical traditions from around the world, learning about the rhythms, instruments, and cultural significance of different musical styles.

While immersing themselves in global music, teens will translate the emotions, rhythms, and colors they experience into visually captivating paintings made from upcycled materials. By repurposing everyday items like newspapers, plastic, fabric scraps, and old magazines, participants will craft textured, colorful artworks that express the energy and cultural essence of the music they explore.
