Milton Public Library is pleased to host a Family Activity Day in the Medicine Learning Garden at Beaty Branch! This will be the official opening of the Medicine Learning Garden for the growing season. Explore the garden and participate in activities for the whole family. Limited quantity of free seed packages and refreshments will be made available. Beaty beehive honey is available for purchase!

Opening Ceremony

12:30 - 1:00pm 

The community will participate in a traditional ceremony by Indigenous knowledge Holders who will share their insights, stories, and teachings related to the garden and its significance.

1:00 - 1:30pm

Storytime with Bridget George

Reading of “The Animal People Choose a Leader”- a story walk in the garden. Drop-in.

1:30 - 3:30pm

Scavenger Hunt for kids in the garden.

Colouring Sheets for kids in the Library.

2:00-3:00pm

Tour of the Beehive. Registered program.
