Youth Mental Health Fair In-Person
Between the ages of 11-17? Come hang out at the Second Youth Mental Health Fair being held at the Sherwood Library (6355 Main Street) of the Milton Public Library on Saturday, May 10 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Hosted by Milton Public Library, the fair is open to the community. Meet people and get free information about services offered by local community organizations including:
- Canadian Mental Health Association Halton
- Children's Aid Society of Halton
- Her Kahaani
- Lighthouse for Grieving Children and Families
- Reach Out Center for Kids
- Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention Services of Halton
- YMCA Be Wise
- LGBT Youthline
- Mind Your Mind
- featuring special emotional support pup guests from St. John Ambulance (and their humans!)
- and of course, the library has free resources all the time!
The fair will feature fun de-stress activities such as:
- making woven bookmarks
- friendship bracelets
- DIY stress balls
- button making
- and more!
There will also be free workshops from Her Kahaani, Lighthouse, and SAVIS, and draws for prizes.
Feel free to share with your friends, family, and networks and any youth that think would like to hang out and have some fun.
