On November 16th, we will celebrate Information and Referral Day (I&R) at MPL. This day highlights the importance of referral services and recognizes the vital work of I&R professionals who connect community members with resources. 
 
Milton Public Library has created the following to highlight the day, feel free to drop by any of our branches to enjoy these passive activities.

•                HIPinfo Scavenger Hunt  
 
Please join us in celebrating I&R Day by printing out the attached scavenger hunt and word search and placing them at the customer service desks on November 16th. Patrons who complete and return either activity to the information desk will be entered for a chance to win a prize (TBD). The participants will be contacted with further details on how to pick up the prize. You can also print out and add any of the attached flyers to the community boards at the branches.  
 
I would like to lastly highlight that these initiatives will allow to increase information literacy as well as showcase the key role information and referral services play in our community. It will also bring patrons closer to becoming community resource experts and navigate resources effectively.
