Artist in Residence: Collage Journals - Visual Diaries @ Sherwood In-Person
Participants will create their own collage journal. Collage journaling is a form of self-expression that involves combining various visual and physical elements—images, words, textures and materials—into a journal or art book.
Two sessions: January 19 and 26
Get ready to unleash your creativity and learn new skills with our upcoming workshops as part of the “Engaging Senior Artists” project! Led by Artist-in-Residence, Megha, and tailored for senior participants of all skill levels, our workshops will provide a platform for artistic expression, community engagement, and lifelong learning.
Workshop topics include:
- Collage Journals - Visual Diaries (January 19 and 26)
- Community Mural Collage: Our Shared Journey (Feb 23 and March 2)
All workshops will be held on Sundays between 2:00-3:00pm
Please note - in participating in these programs, you are agreeing to your work being used for a community exhibition/display at the FirstOntario Arts Centre in Spring 2025.
