Aging Well - The MIND Diet @ Beaty In-Person

Making healthy good choices not only improves your general health but in the long-term, eating nutritious food helps maintain your brain function and slows cognitive decline. 

The MIND diet combines the Mediterranean diet and the DASH diet to create a dietary pattern that focuses specifically on brain and is designed to reduce the risk of dementia and loss of brain function as you age.



Presented in partnership with the Alzheimer's Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton and Halton. 


 

The Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton is the local community agency dedicated to supporting families living with dementia. Their program and services are focused around three pillars of care: Dementia Education, Counselling & Support Services, and Health & Wellness activities.
