Tech Collect @ Sherwood In-Person
Drive up and drop off your used, broken, and unwanted laptops; cell phones; and other electronic devices and accessories to be refurbished and circulated back to those in need in the local community.
Donations will be safely recycled or refurbished and circulated back to the community to support individuals and families in need. Other unwanted indoor/outdoor household metal items that weigh 35lbs or less will also be collected in metal e-waste bin.
Milton Public Library is partnering with Let's Get Together to host this tech collect drive located in Sherwood Community Centre parking lot. . Click here for the list of items that can or cannot be accepted.
A signature will be required to release items and their data to Let's Get Together for data erasure and refurbishment.
Let's Get Together is a nonprofit organization that aims to make learning equitable and education accessible. Let's Get Together envisions a world where every youth has equal opportunity to pursue higher education with no barriers and purposeful support. Their ultimate goal Our ultimate goal is for every individual across Canada to own a computer, have access to internet service and a clear pathway to enhance their digital literacy by 2025.
