South Asian Health and Diabetes In-Person
Did you know that if you or your relatives are from South Asian descent, you’re at greater risk for diabetes than people from other ethnic backgrounds? Even those who are lean and active can be diagnosed with diabetes at a younger age because of genetic factors.
A Certified Diabetes Educator from LMC will provide information about how to lower your risk for Diabetes, share nutritional tips to better balance blood sugar and discuss why it’s important to get screened early.
