Film Club @ Main In-Person
Watch the selected film and then join us for a lively discussion each month. Instead of books, this a club for those interested in films to meet new people and share ideas. From the casual viewer to the cinephile, all levels of interest in film are welcome.

February 5: The Lunch Box (2014)
Middle class housewife Ila is trying once again to add some spice to her marriage, this time through her cooking. She desperately hopes that this new recipe will finally arouse some kind of reaction from her neglectful husband. She prepares a special lunchbox to be delivered to him at work, but, unbeknownst to her, it is mistakenly delivered to another office worker, Saajan, a lonely man on the verge of retirement.

March 4: Mustang (2016)
Five beautiful and beguiling young sisters become imprisoned in their own home, forbidden by their controlling, conservative elders from having any contact with the outside world. Turkish with English subtitles.

April 11: A Separation (2012)
A married couple are faced with a difficult decision - to improve the life of their child by moving to another country or to stay in Iran and look after a deteriorating parent who has Alzheimer's disease. Persian with English subtitles.
