Catnip Crazy: Make a Gift for a Shelter Cat

Catnip Crazy: Make a Gift for a Shelter Cat In-Person

The holidays are a time to think of those less fortunate than you, such as the residents of the Oakville & Milton Humane Society. Milton Public Library's Indigenous Learning Garden produced a large amount of catnip this summer, so as a way to use the garden to benefit the community we are going to make catnip toys and donate them to the Humane Society. Participants are eligible to earn volunteer hours for this program. All materials will be provided.

Please also look at their website and consider donating or volunteering with them directly, and check out the animals available for adoption - maybe you'll find your new family member there.
